My husband and son found this guy stuck on the median between a 6 lane highway.. he was a little rough and not real happy, but I can’t say I would be pleasant either.. We took him down to a pond behind the motel we were staying in.. and I don’t know much about turtles but when he finally peaked out of his shell.. I think he was glad to see the water.
Monday again already,…what else can you do, but “Keep on Smilin”

Thanks to the wonderful work of Cory and Web dog services I have finally graduated from a blog, to a web page.. Time to spread my wings and get things a little better organized.. After hours of trying to capture a good photo of a pheasant in the snow, I learned the valuble lesson that anyone who has ever persued these fast flying, fast running birds already knows. They just don't stand there and pose. Although this is not how I invisioned the perfect shot, Catching the irredescent colors of this cock pheasant in motion against a simple winter background turned out to be my favorite thus far.
Here in Northwestern Wyoming spring has arrived in all its glory. The thermometer reads 24 degrees, there is a fresh dusting of snow on the ground and yes, once again the wind is blowing. Glory you say, that doesn’t sound like glory. Well if you look closely, you will see the glory and beauty in this rugged and unforgiving country. An early spring snow may temporarily stall the arrival of the grasses and slow the budding of the trees, but it will not stall the coming of the mountain blue bird. he’s a happy turtle, you guys saved him

I was so mad and thought to myself how could you not see the turtle and me waving and pointing to slow down, he killed teh turtle and I then had to drag the poor thing off teh road, so sad i cried.
Last month when I was out on my motorbike I came upon a big snapper turtle crossing the road, I decided to help and did a u turn because everyone was driving over the poor thing. Well as i was waving for a car to slow down it seems he just went even faster and diliberatley ran over the turtle
Not too many people appreciate life like we do and you guys did a wonderful thing by saving his life

Wow, now thats a face only a mother can appreciate, but the smile is definitely universal. Growing up in Minn. there was lots of turtles, but SW Idaho and SE Oregon – not much. They sure have weird eyes don’t they.

Thanks for stopping by the blog. l enjoyed catching up on your website. The experience with the external drive is most interesting. I have had a few experiences with massive data loss with them while video editing with a new Windows 7 Computer. Luckily I still have the footage on tapes so nothing is lost there, but it takes hours and hours to recapture it, so like you I am now using a second drive as insurance.
