This is a photo of a local land mark “Heart Mountain”

This is a very unique mountain, as the rock found in it is estimated to be 350-500 million years old, yet the dirt that is sits on is only 55 million years old.

I have read many theories as to how this rock ended up where it now sits.. and most are centered around volcanoes.

But all I know is I am very  glad that I was not around to see it.

    I wish I could think of another adjective except BEAUTIFUL so I capitalized it. Ah thanks for sharing this wonderful scene with us out here in blogland. TN has begun to warm up and whenever I loose myself I find me outside. Peace

    I’m fairly new here…but from what I have read…2 things stand out.

    1) the photographs
    2) your love and appreciation for life.

    This is what really draws me to your site. Sometimes the life circumstances and sometimes people can be so cruel. You’re site is really nice!
